apcmicrolink is a new driver (merged via NUT PR #3579, not yet in any tagged NUT release) for APC Smart-UPS units with no serial port, using the AP9641-style "Microlink" protocol tunnelled over USB HID. This report is from an APC Smart-UPS 500 (SCL500RM1UC). Needs the APC/Schneider Electric cable 940-0504 (USB A to USB A) — a standard USB A-to-B cable will not work.
Several settable variables (delays, thresholds, input.sensitivity,
battery.date, the outlet-group timer/schedule fields) are reported by
upsrw with Type: NUMBER and no declared min/max, which doesn’t map
cleanly onto DDL’s STRING/RANGE/ENUM #RW: markup — left as plain
comments below rather than guessed at. Only the four genuine STRING
variables (three outlet-group names + ups.id, each with a published
max length) are given as #RW: tags.
